American X-Flyer model airplane controller
The American X-Flyer model airplane controller is an embedded controller board for miniature battery-powered remote-control model airplanes. The controller uses a Nitinol actuator in place of a standard electromagnetic actuator for tail rudder movement. This allows the plane to have smaller size and lower cost as compared with a plane using an electromagnetic actuator.

Product Design and Development Areas
Circuit design
Designed the circuit using commercial off-the-shelf radio control components intended for model cars and planes. Captured schematic using Cadence OrCAD.
Board design
Subcontracted the board design and worked with the board designer to obtain board fabrication files.
